Synthesis and Antibacterial Activity of Some Acetophenone Derivatives
摘要
Abstract
New compounds—[4-hydroxy-2,6-bis-(3-methoxyphenyl)-4-phenylcyclohexane-1,3-diyl]bis(phenylmethanone), 4′′-methoxy-5′-oxo-N-phenyl-2′,3′,4′,5′-tetrahydro-[1,1′:3′,1′′-terphenyl]-4′-carboxamide, and 4′′-nitro-5′-oxo-N-phenyl-2′,3′,4′,5′-tetrahydro-[1,1′:3′,1′′-terphenyl]-4′-carboxamide—were synthesized by the reaction of acetophenone with aldehydes and acetoacetanilide. Subsequently, their antibacterial activity against pathogenic bacteria was studied. The structure of the products was determined using NMR spectroscopy. A probable reaction mechanism for the formation of the six-membered ring was proposed.
