Abstract <p>New nitroaromatic maleopimarimides, carboxamides, and maleopimaric acid esters were synthesized in high yields by the reaction of maleopimaric acid or its acid chloride with amino- and hydroxynitrophenyl compounds. Structure of the synthesized compounds was determined by <sup>1</sup>H, <sup>13</sup>C, <sup>1</sup>H–<sup>13</sup>C HSQC, <sup>1</sup>H–<sup>13</sup>C HMBC, COSY, NOESY, and <sup>1</sup>H–<sup>15</sup>N HMBC NMR spectroscopy methods.</p>

Abstract
