Abstract <p>The manganese mercury thiocyanate crystal (MMTC) crystalline material was synthesized by the Sankaranarayana–Ramasamy (SR) method. The 150 scaled MMTC crystalline material was obtained by high pressure and temperature on pure MMTC, is further referred as MMTC150S. The lattice parameters of the MMTC150 scaled crystal are <i>a</i> = 11.3199(3), <i>b</i> = 11.3199(3), and <i>c</i> = 4.2755(5) Å. The functional groups of MMTC150S scaled material were identified by the FITR study. The piezoelectric charge coefficient of the material is 4.6 pC/N, the range starting from 50–300 Hz. The red, blue LED efficiency is analyzed, its sensitivity were reported. The MMTC150S crystal, the output frequency is 2.19 times than that of the input frequency value in Hz is used in electronic sectors. The electronic filter influx range as 3.1269 microns for MMTC150S crystal. The fluorescence studies of MMTC150S cut-off range 267 nm. The photonic application and absorbance data values are 4.64, 4.6441 eV confirmed from the from Tauc’s plot. The fluorescence emission is 492 nm, this gives a band gap value of 2.5203 eV, which is more than pure MMTC. The dielectric nature of MMTC150S crystal has a low value of the dielectric constant which confirms their utility of the crystalline specimen in photonics, electro-optics and in nonlinear optics (NLO).</p>
