Abstract

A method was developed for synthesizing previously unknown hydrazones containing two pharmacophoric fragments in their structure based on the reaction of phenyl/acylhydrazines with 1-(1-tosylpyrrolidin-2-yl)propan-2-one. Structure of the resulting hydrazones was established using ¹H, ¹³C NMR, IR spectroscopy, and mass spectrometry (ESI-TOF) data. Based on 1D/2D correlation NMR experiments, it was found that the resulting hydrazones exist only as E-isomer.
