Synthesis of Novel Spirochromanone/1,2,3-Triazole Hybrid Heterocycles as Potential Antimicrobial Agents

Abstract
A series of new hybrid spirochromanone-1,2,3-triazole derivatives have been synthesized by employing a Cu(I)-catalyzed azide-alkyne [3+2] cycloaddition reaction. All compounds were characterized using 1H NMR, 13C NMR and HRMS methods. In addition, all synthesized compounds were tested in vitro for antimicrobial activity.
