Triple Bond Species in the Synthesis of Oxa(thia)diazoles and Triazoles (A Review)

Abstract
This review summarizes advances in the synthesis of 1,3,4-oxadiazoles, 1,2,4-isoxadiazoles, thiadiazoles and triazoles based on compounds containing at least one sp-hybridized carbon atom. Unlike existing reviews reporting classical methods for the synthesis of these compounds, this work combines new approaches aimed at the use of highly reactive compounds. The main trends, their development, and achievements in this field of synthesis of these classes of heterocyclic compounds, advantages and limitations of the approaches used for 1961–2023 are presented.
