Corrosion Mechanism of High-Entropy DdTbDyHoSc and GdTbDyHoY Alloys
摘要
Abstract
This study presents an analysis of the corrosion behavior of two rare-earth equimolar alloys, GdTbDyHoSc and GdTbDyHoY, in a 3% NaCl solution. Electrochemical measurements revealed that both alloys demonstrate increased corrosive activity and a tendency for pitting. Additionally, X-ray diffraction analysis of the corrosion layer formed and microphotographs of the alloys’ surfaces after 24 h of exposure to the 3% NaCl solution are included. These findings lead to conclusions about the nature of the difference in the corrosion behavior of the GdTbDyHoSc and GdTbDyHoY alloys in the 3% NaCl solution.
