Synthesis of Acylhydrazones of the 1,3,6-Trimethyluracil Series

Abstract
A series of hydrazones with a 1,3,6-trimethyluracil fragment was synthesized by condensation of 1,3,6-trimethyl-5-formyluracil with aromatic acylhydrazides in aqueous ethanol.
