Template Synthesis of Functionalized o-Iminosemiquinones and o-Iminoquinones in the Coordination Sphere of Nickel(II) and Zinc(II) Ions
摘要
New nickel(II) bis-o-iminobenzosemiquinolate complexes (L1)2Ni (I) and (L2)2Ni (II) were prepared by template synthesis using o- and m-phenylenediamine compounds with NiCl2 ((o-PDA)2NiCl2 and (m-PDA)2NiCl2) as precursors in the reaction with thallium(I) 3,5-di-tert-butyl-o-benzosemiquinolate. The o-phenylenediamine complex with ZnI2 ((o-PDA)ZnI2) was allowed to react with 4-(tert-butyl)-5-methoxy-o-benzoquinone to give L3ZnI2 (III) containing a neutrally coordinated molecule of new o-iminobenzoquinone. It was shown that the condensation of o(m)-phenylenediamine with o-benzosemiquinone/o-benzoquinone takes place in the coordination sphere of nickel(II) and zinc(II) ions, giving rise to new o-iminobenzosemiquinolate/o-iminobenzoquinone ligands functionalized with an amino group. The structure of complexes I and III was confirmed by X-ray diffraction.
