Monovalent Lanthanide Compounds

Abstract
The article is devoted to lanthanide compounds containing a monovalent metal. Reactions leading to the formation of monovalent derivatives LnX as final products and/or unstable intermediates are presented. Methods for identifying the metal valence state and the properties of the compounds are discussed.
