Abstract <p>The problem of comparing estimates of aerodynamic coefficients calculated from flight data with similar coefficients from the aerodynamic characteristics (ADC) bank is studied. A method for calculating the optimal estimates of coefficients closest to the blowdown data is proposed, and its properties are established. The method is tested on short-range flight data in longitudinal motion. A&#xa0;good mutual correspondence of flight and blowdown coefficients is shown.</p>
