Abstract <p>The dependence of quality indicators on the model input parameters has been numerically studied for the simulation and numerical models of subscriber service processes in a data transmission network based on high-throughput satellites. The quality indicators have been approximately estimated. The accuracy of the estimates obtained using analytical models and of the approximate estimates has been analyzed in comparison with the estimates obtained using a simulation model. Areas of efficient use of the approximate estimates have been identified.</p>
