An Experimental Study of Emulsion Generation Using a Microfluidic Droplet Generator
摘要
Abstract
The paper presents the results of an experimental study aimed at perfection of methods for producing emulsions, conducted using a microfluidic droplet generator made of epoxy resin with the lab-on-a-chip technology. The proposed device fabrication approach, described in the paper in detail, guarantees increased accuracy and reproducibility of the results. The method presented is optimally suited for complex chemical experiments, ensuring high operational stability over long time. During the experiments, the ranges of stable emulsion existence were determined depending on the carrier and dispersed phase pressures, as well as the oil droplet sizes in the emulsion.
