On the Applicability Boundaries of the Pocklington and Gallen Equations in Modelling of Electric Vibrators

Abstract
At present, the Pocklington integro-differential equation and the Gallen integral equations are one of the main mathematical instruments used in modelling of electric vibrators with various topologies. When deriving these equations, several physical assumptions have been made. In particular, it was assumed that the current values at the ends of the vibrator are equal to zero. In this article, we determine the values of ratio “gap width/vibrator length,” for which this assumption is admissible.
