New Model of the Diamond Detector Response Function for DT-Neutron Registration

Abstract
An experiment with simultaneous irradiation of a diamond detector with DT neutrons and alpha particles was performed. The results of the experiment indicate differences in the processes of collecting charge carriers that occur in the diamond detector when registering alpha particles and beryllium nuclei. It is shown that a three-component model must be used to describe the response function of the detector considered.
