Abstract

Based on the statistics of 13 pb–1 collected with the CMD-3 detector at energies close to the \(\omega \) -meson mass, the transition electromagnetic form factor has been preliminary measured in the process \(\omega \to {{\pi }^{0}}{{e}^{ + }}{{e}^{ - }}\) . The use of machine learning methods suppresses the main background process \(\omega \to {{\pi }^{ + }}{{\pi }^{ - }}{{\pi }^{0}}\) throughout the entire range of opening angles. The found slope of the form factor \(\Lambda _{\omega }^{{ - 2}} = 1.0 \pm 0.4\) (GeV/c2)–2 agrees with the Vector Dominant Model (VDM) prediction.
