摘要

Abstract

Scintillation detectors based on strong scattering media are a new solution for spatial-sensitive detectors of particles with no segmentation of a sensitive volume. One of the modifications of such a medium can be few-millimeter-sized granules of a solid scintillator. This article describes the design of a prototype of such a detector, the process of its calibration, the algorithm of the coordinate reconstruction, and the results of simulation.
