Toolkit in Python for Simulation of Shapiro Step on the Current–Voltage Characteristic of a Josephson Junction

Abstract
The paper considers the simulation of the Josephson junction dynamics under the influence of external radiation. Using Python in the Jupyter book environment, we developed algorithms to calculate the current-voltage characteristic of a Josephson junction under the influence of external radiation and compute the amplitude dependence of the Shapiro step width. A parallel algorithm for the task under consideration was implemented with the help of the Joblib library of Python, and the efficiency of parallel computing was analyzed.
