Electroweak Corrections to Forward–Backward Asymmetry in the Dilepton Production Via Photon Fusion at the LHC
摘要
Abstract
One-loop electroweak radiative corrections to dilepton production in hadron collisions via photon fusion are studied. Estimates for the experimental program of the Large Hadron Collider to study the Drell–Yan process are obtained. The contribution of electroweak effects to forward–backward asymmetry in a wide kinematical region is numerically analyzed in detail, including the CMS LHC experiment in the Run3/HL regime, which corresponds to ultrahigh energies and dilepton invariant masses.
