Abstract
In the Belle experiment, the branching fractions for inclusive decays of \(B_{s}^{0}\) mesons into \(D\) mesons are measured using the hadron tagging method. The results are obtained using a data sample with a total luminosity of 121.4 fb \({}^{-1}\) collected at the energy of the \(\Upsilon(5S)\) resonance by the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric electron–positron collider. We obtain \(\mathcal{B}(B_{s}^{0}\to D_{s}^{\pm}X)=(68.6\pm 7.2\pm 4.0)\%\) , \(\mathcal{B}(B_{s}^{0}\to D^{0}/\bar{D}^{0}X)=(21.5\pm 6.1\pm 1.8)\%\) , and \(\mathcal{B}(B_{s}^{0}\to D^{\pm}X)=(12.6\pm 4.6\pm 1.3)\%\) . The branching fractions for the inclusive decays into \(D_{s}^{\pm}\) and \(D^{0}/\bar{D}^{0}\) are consistent with previous Belle measurements. The new value of \(\mathcal{B}(B_{s}^{0}\to D_{s}^{\pm}X)\) allows us to obtain the energy dependence of \(e^{+}e^{-}\to B_{s}^{0}\bar{B}_{s}^{0}X\) cross section and \(B_{s}^{0}\) mesons’ production rate at the energy of the \(\Upsilon(5S)\) resonance, \(f_{s}=(21.4^{+1.5}_{-1.4})\%\) , with more accuracy.
