Manufacturing Radio Frequency Elements for an 8-MeV Two-Section Linear Accelerator of Electrons for Applied Purposes

Abstract
This paper describes the activities in the fabrication of a two-section accelerating structure for a project of a linear electron accelerator for applied purposes. Theoretical dependences of the electrodynamic characteristics on the geometric parameters of the radio frequency elements are obtained. The values of these characteristics for the fabricated structure are measured.
