Simulation of the Hybrid Detector for Multicomponent Studies of Extensive Air Showers
摘要
Abstract
A facility based on hybrid detectors is currently developed at the Experimental Complex NEVOD (National Research Nuclear University MEPhI, Moscow). It is intended for simultaneous detection of electron−photon and hadron components of extensive air showers. The hybrid detector is designed so that several separate scintillation detection layers are used for each component of extensive air showers. Different designs of the detecting system of the developed hybrid detector for measuring the electron−photon and hadron components of extensive air showers are presented. The measurements of neutrons with different energies using the detecting systems with described designs are simulated.
