Abstract <p>AbA method of measuring the load characteristics of axial and radial bearings has been developed and tested. The study of load characteristics of bearings of different geometry based on modern superconducting tapes has been carried out. Dependences of vertical and lateral forces on the value of the corresponding displacement were obtained and analyzed, the stability of bearings was compared. The methodology is suitable for measurements in zero field cooling (ZFC) mode and field cooling (FC) mode in liquid nitrogen.</p>
