Abstract
The paper presents the results of numerical testing of the developed algorithm for optimization of the sequence of dismantling of graphite stack blocks. The paper evaluates the reduction of financial expenses for radioactive graphite removal during decommissioning of RBMK‑1000 reactor units by the example of the Leningrad NPP. This effect is achieved by reducing the required number of containers for the second class of radioactive waste to be removed.
