Resonant Systems Based on SDTL Structure Sections

Abstract
The combination of short sections of the Separated Drift Tube Linac (SDTL) structure into a single resonant system is considered. The features of the combination of sections at different operating frequencies are examined. A procedure for optimizing the parameters of coupling cells is performed, and the results for various configurations of coupling cells are presented. It is shown that, on the operating type of oscillations in the π/2 system, both antiphase and in-phase distributions of the accelerating field in neighboring sections can be created.
