Development of Scintillators Based on Silicone Compound for Recording Different Types of Particles
摘要
Abstract
We are developing specialized scintillators based on domestic luminophores immersed in an optically transparent silicone compound. Dispersed scintillators of this class can be optimized for registering particles of different types. Methods for numerical modeling of dispersed silicone scintillators and their experimentally measured response to atmospheric muons, fast neutrons, and γ quanta are presented.
