Approaches to the Estimation of Rate Constants for Epidemiological Transitions in the SEIR Model

Abstract
Some possible approaches to the estimation of rate constants for epidemiological transitions for the SEIR epidemic spread model are considered. Using the analogy of the basic SEIR model with the equations of physical and chemical kinetics, it is proposed to include physical, biomedical, and sociocultural factors characterizing the society to be considered in the dependences of the rates of epidemiological transitions.
