Abstract
Electroweak heavy vector boson pair production in \(pp\) -collisions at the LHC is one of the ways to probe the mechanism of the electroweak symmetry breaking. This paper summarizes experimental results on event rates with two heavy vector bosons and two hadron jets, \(ZZ\) , \(ZW\) and \(WW\) , produced via electroweak interactions. They are based mostly on complete datasets accumulated by the ATLAS and CMS detectors at \(\sqrt{s}=13\) TeV during Run2 of the LHC.
