Calculation of Characteristics of a Pulsed Electrojet Engine under the Variation of Energy Accumulator Parameters

Abstract
In this article, we investigate the physicotechnical processes occurring in the gas-discharge chamber of a low-pressure radio-frequency (RF) helicon-type discharge, as well as in a coaxial magnetoplasma accelerator operating on its basis. Using the formulated mathematical model (of an RF source and a plasma accelerator), we analyze the effect of variation of the engine parameter on its working characteristics.
