Abstract

CMOS matrices have become the main photodetectors in astronomy today. A significant part of them can register images only in the so-called “rolling shutter” mode. In this mode, the images of moving objects are distorted. The paper discusses the mechanism that induces such distortions during observations of astronomical objects and the possibility of eliminating them.
