Radio Pulsars

The paper is a review of the theory and observations of radio pulsars. The inclined rotator model, unipolar generator: Goldreich–Julian model, rotational energy losses, braking index, starquakes and period jumps, magnetic fields of pulsars, binary and recycled radio pulsars, determination of neutron star masses, emission of gravitational waves during the merger of neutron stars, cosmic gamma-ray bursts are described.
