Tomography of Optical Quantum States with Imperfect Photon-Number-Resolving Detectors

Abstract
A method for quantum state estimation using nonideal photon detection devices has been developed. Using the example of squeezed coherent states, we study the influence of detector efficiency and “dead time” on the fidelity of quantum-state reconstruction for photon-number-resolving (PNR) detectors.
