Abstract

In the integral magnetooptical response of the three-layer Co(6 nm)/Ru(10 nm)/Co(10 nm)/Si(100) structure, the contributions of different individual cobalt layers are identified. A method is developed and described that makes it possible, based on the analysis of magnetooptical dependence patterns, to analyze the magnetic properties of individual magnetic layers of three-layer systems and determine the directions of magnetic anisotropy. The developed method makes it possible to establish that the properties of magnetic anisotropy of cobalt films in a multilayer structure depend on the properties of the buffer layer and the substrate, interfacial interactions, and mechanical stresses, as well as determine the directions of the magnetic anisotropy axes in each layer.
