Comparative Analysis of the Initial State in Inhomogeneous Rods

Abstract
One of the important problems in solid mechanics is the analysis of the effect of various types of heterogeneity in material properties and preconditioning (PC) factors, including prestresses and strains, on the dynamic characteristics of a material. In this paper, the effect of various types of preconditioning on the spectrum of acoustic characteristics (eigenfrequencies and frequency response) in rods made of functionally graded composites has been analyzed. Using the Timoshenko model, PC factors such as prestresses, pre-deflection of the rod, and the preconditioning angle of rotation of the rod’s principal axis due to bending have been considered.
