摘要
Abstract
On July 14, 2025, the carcass of a male Hubbs’ beaked whale, Mesoplodon carlhubbsi Moore, 1963 (Ziphiidae), approximately 4.55 m long, was found in the surf zone on the southwestern coast of Sakhalin Island (48°00′11″ N and 142°11′15″ E). The whale had presumably died due to an injury inflicted by another male long before becoming stranded.
