Abstract <p>A curcumine-based luminophore containing a thiophenol group has been obtained, and the spectral characteristics of the product have been studied. The main absorption band lays at 313 nm and emission band lays at 350 nm. It has been shown that there is luminescence quenching of the product with cadmium cations and the chemisorption on silver nanoparticles occurs, which results in a change in both the absorption spectrum and a hypsochromic shift of the luminescence band.</p>
