Abstract <p>The paper studies the conditions for the generation of a highly directional supercontinuum in a filament created in nitrogen gas by aberration focusing of radiation at a wavelength of 940&#xa0;nm with duration of 70&#xa0;fs and energy up to 7&#xa0;mJ. It is shown that the spectrum of the highly directional supercontinuum covers the range from 350 to 1200&#xa0;nm, its radiation divergence is diffractive, and its energy is 17&#xa0;µJ.</p>
