Seismoacoustic Indicators of Tropical Cyclone Development over the Sea of Japan
摘要
Abstract
The results of studies on the seismoacoustic manifestations of tropical cyclones over the Sea of Japan are presented. It is shown that infrasound microseismic signals recorded by laser strainmeters reflect the dynamics of typhoon development and make it possible to identify the phases of their active impact on the sea surface. Examples of three tropical cyclones with varying intensities and trajectories are considered. The obtained data confirm the effectiveness of the deformation method for the remote monitoring of storm activity.
