Erosion of Ultrafine-Grained Alpha and Omega Titanium under Irradiation with 30-keV Ar+ Ions
摘要
Abstract—
The surface erosion of ultrafine-grained α-phase and α + ω-phase titanium samples produced by high-pressure torsion at temperatures no higher than 100°C is experimentally studied under irradiation with 30-keV Ar+ ions. The irradiation fluence is a multiple of 6 × 1018 ion/cm2. Sputtering yields are measured, and the conditions for producing a uniform ion-induced conical relief are identified.
