Triangulation of Auroral Structures: Application Examples
摘要
Abstract—
Examples are presented of determining the altitude of the glow in the atmosphere based on simultaneous observations from the Lovozero observatory and the Verkhnetulomsky test site. A previously registered software program is used to perform the necessary geometric transformations. Test results for meteor observations are given. For typical auroral structures, the glow altitudes are found, which confirm the typical altitudes obtained earlier. Limitations on the used method are justified.
