Anomalous Behavior of Resonant Reflection near ν = 1 as an Indicator of Nontrivial Spin Polarization in a Two-Dimensional Electron System
摘要
Abstract
A two-dimensional electron system in a GaAs/AlGaAs quantum well is studied by resonant light reflection in magnetic fields corresponding to filling factors from 0.2 to 1.4. The resulting reflection spectra demonstrate nonmonotonic behavior of the transition intensities from the upper and lower spin sublevels of the zero Landau level.
