Abstract

An attempt was made to impart a higher stability in a strong magnetic field to a two-layer structure of an inductor material with a less conductive external layer. For this purpose, the powder method was used to synthesize the material of the base of a nanostructured Cu–Nb composite (~14% Nb), a layer from the composite that was additionally alloyed up to 5 wt % Ti or Ni, and samples of two-layer structures . The conductivity and strength of the composites were studied as a function of annealing temperature (750–900°C).
