Inner Filter Effect in Photoluminescence of Colloidal InP/ZnSe/ZnS Quantum Dots

Abstract
The influence of concentration on the spectral characteristics of aqueous solutions of biocompatible colloidal InP/ZnSe/ZnS quantum dots is studied using optical absorption and luminescence spectroscopy. The discussion covers observed transitions in the core and shells, the primary and secondary inner filter effects, as well as the photoluminescence concentration quenching of semiconductor nanocrystals.
