W-Band EPR Study of Radicals in Calcium Gluconate
摘要
Abstract
Electron paramagnetic resonance in the X and W bands is used to study mechanically activated calcium gluconate. The W-band spectrum is multicomponent and is described by contributions from two types of radicals with different g-factors: carbon radicals of δ-gluconolactone and the (Ca–OC6H11O6)*δ-GL radical. The parameters of these spectra, obtained through quantum chemical calculations, are in good agreement with experimental ones.
