Using Additional Currents to Correct the Phase Errors of a Superconducting Undulator
摘要
Abstract
The authors describe a way of correcting the magnetic field of a superconducting undulator with neutral poles. The main windings of the undulator, gathered into separate groups and powered by additional currents, are used for corrections. Graphs of phase errors are presented for the range of the undulator’s magnetic fields of after corrections. The magnitudes of the total and local phase errors are 3.5° and 1.9° for a maximum field of 1.2 T.
