<b>Abstract</b>— <p>The wave functions and ground state energies of <sup>12</sup>C and <sup>6</sup>Li nuclei in the alpha cluster model are calculated using Feynman path integrals and hyperspherical functions. Calculated α-cluster separation energies and charge distributions are in good agreement with experimental data. Additional calculations in the shell model of a deformed nucleus for <sup>12</sup>C and a spherical nucleus for <sup>6</sup>Li also are in good agreement with the experimental data for the charge distributions.</p>

Abstract

The wave functions and ground state energies of 12C and 6Li nuclei in the alpha cluster model are calculated using Feynman path integrals and hyperspherical functions.
