Formation of Correlated Charged Particles during the Absorption of π– Mesons on a Live Target
摘要
Abstract
The energy spectra were analyzed for correlated pairs of single-charged particles emitted at an angle of 180° by the nuclei of a “live” target (an analogue of the 28Si target) during the absorption of stopped π− mesons. The information obtained with the help of the live target is interesting for testing hypotheses about the mechanisms of formation of complex particles. Data analysis made it possible to detect complex particles, both of cluster (direct) origin and formed because of secondary intranuclear interactions.
