Abstract <p>Results are presented from studies of the ionosphere on September 12, 2023, performed by a system of mid-latitude synchronously operating oblique and vertical sounding ionosonde stations. Strong diffuse reflections from dynamic structures of the auroral ionosphere are detected against the background of regular reflections from the F-layer of the ionosphere during the main phase of the development of a class G1 geomagnetic storm.</p>
