Abstract <p>Current problems of the theory of spin chemistry are briefly reviewed. The prospects for practical applications of spin chemistry achievements are discussed. It is shown that in chemical kinetics, it is necessary to consider the possibility of changes in the electron multiplicity of reactants during elementary chemical acts.</p>
