Abstract <p>Correlation of the temperature dependences of Raman scattering and ferromagnetic resonance is found in nanowires of a dilute magnetic semiconductor Ge<sub>0.99</sub>Co<sub>0.01</sub>. A sudden “softening” of optical phonon lines occurs at <i>T</i> ≈ 74 K. The observed behavior indicates a strong interaction of carriers not only with phonons but also with the magnetic system.</p>
